Highlander

Working at a local video club after leaving the movie industry, I met the incredibly talented game designer Chanh Li, and we quickly bonded over our shared love for movies and video games. Soon, I found myself introduced to Dominique Peyronnet, a passionate and detail-oriented professional who brought an unmatched level of enthusiasm to the project. Before long, I joined the company, taught myself Unreal Engine and Kismet, and became deeply involved in the creative process of developing the Highlander video game.

My role in the project was like a Swiss-army knife in the narrative department, taking on a multitude of tasks, from overseeing story development and creating storyboards to directing motion-capture animation sessions. Although the game never saw the light of day due to business reasons, the experience left an indelible mark on my narrative and management skills. The team of 80 incredibly talented and inspiring individuals, along with the support from Chanh and Dominique, has had a lasting impact on how I approach future projects and collaborations.
